Eclectic Edinburgh
I have been fortunate to have travelled to many places in my 27 years, but until recently I hadn’t stepped a foot inside Scotland. My husband and I chose Edinburgh and we stayed at The Chambers - a luxurious apartment located on the beautiful Royal Mile.
Just a short 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, The Chambers are stunning and their staff are the friendliest hospitality staff I have ever had the pleasure of communicating with.
Within two minutes of arriving at this fabulous location we were checked in to our apartment, which on first impressions took our breath away with how well the apartment had been designed and presented. Our balcony looked straight out over the city and Scot monument – simply amazing.
After a recommendation from a friend before we travelled to Edinburgh, we decided not to hire a car and my gosh she was so right! We were lucky enough to visit Edinburgh Castle, Camera Obscura, Hard Rock Café, St Marys Close (which is literally opposite the entrance to The Chambers), The Scotch Whiskey experience, a delicious meal at The Angels with Bagpipes restaurant (traditional Scottish cuisine and ‘yes’ I did try Haggis!) and made the most of the fantastic array of shops that Edinburgh has to offer and we didn’t have to see the inside of a car, bus or train once! The Chambers is in the ideal location for exploring Edinburgh and it
is tucked away enough to relax in the evening and feel refreshed for the next day. The kitchen in our apartment was out of this world and technically advanced in every way possible including a coffee machine that at the touch of a button produced a caffeine boosting expresso that tasted (in my opinion) as good as what most coffee houses could produce.
Our stay in Edinburgh was fun yet relaxing and The Chambers apartments are a great place to stay. Comfy beds, beautiful décor and stunning views‐ what more could you want?
