offer a range of recessed air curtains which are packed with energy saving features. The new, improved, DAB recessed range, which covers 1m, 1.5m and 2m widths in electrically heated, water heated or ambient and cold store models, offers high output airstreams for entrances up to 4m high. For the first time, this range of high power models offer dedicated recessed units rather than standard units with additional recess kits, which means no need for additional construction and a faster installation for contractors. These systems are compatible with a range of additional controls including motion sensors and run back timers for maximum energy savings.
Phil Chilton, Commercial Products Manager for Dimplex, said: “Following customer feedback we have made a number of improvements to the DAB recessed range which will enable faster installations, saving contractors time and money. These improvements also mean quicker access to the unit should maintenance be required.” “These fully recessed units for entrances up to 4m high mean there is no need to construct any additional recess kit and, together with our CAB range of air curtains for entrances up to 3m high, they complete a full range of recessed air curtains from Dimplex.” In today’s tough market place retailers are always thinking of ways to get consumers in store and once there keep them interested and engaged. Too hot or too cold temperatures will discourage consumers staying in the store for a prolonged amount of time and will therefore result in fewer sales. Climate control systems can be a large outlay for stores but if retailers look closely at energy efficient systems and ones with low maintenance times they may find the ROI comes sooner rather than later.
