elcome to the September 2013 issue of A1 Retail Magazine!
WOW‐ what a month it has been here at A1 HQ; we have been kept rather busy with putting together a feature about 100% Design to which we are very proud media partners to, we had a fantastic meeting with the lovely people at EuroShop making BIG plans for the exhibition and we have announced that we are launching the A1 Media APP!
Also, this issue we have put together an article on the Smithfields development. During a recent trip to Paris I had the pleasure of meeting a very inspirational man called Marcus Binney who informed me of the current plans to destroy Smithfield General Market and replace it with offices up to 20 metres high. As a strong supporter of Britains high streets and the retail economy in general, we wanted to share this with our readers. See the full feature on page 40 and 41.
My schedule doesn’t show any signs of slowing down with trips planned in September all over the country at exhibitions, conferences and awards. Hopefully, see you at one of these great events.
