of these units are currently operating at 63 microns aperture. The inclination of the unit can be varied from 13 to 30 degrees and all machines feature a simple process mesh removal system to aid mesh replacement and reduce downtime.

CS/CD Circular ScreenX Units units excel in control screening and classification of ‘difficult-to-screen’ industrial powders on meshes 30 - 1000 micron screen aperture. Using the MFVexcite®

technology it is possible

to effectively sift powdered materials using ultra fine meshes at higher capacities due to the continuous self cleaning action of the multi-frequency vibration of the unit. These machines have all contact parts manufactured from 304L stainless steel and are more suited to lower capacities fine and ultra-fine control screening applications. Again the process meshes are not pre- tensioned and the lifetime of ultra-fine meshes is increased. No costly re-bonding of screens as with other systems fitted with balls or ultrasonic devices, mesh can be easily and simply replaced on-site within a few minutes, which means less downtime and a lower spares inventory. The company’s dedicated range of powder sieves are of VPB – mobile / trolley mounted units, VPM fixed base unit and the VP2 ‘low profile’ compact range of check sieves. All of the equipment in the powder range is optimised for powder separation and can be configured to suit individual production / site requirements. The range of machines is manufactured as standard with 304L stainless steel contact parts with 316L stainless steel contact parts available as an option. Machines can be tailored to suit food processing applications and all machines can supplied ATEX compliant.

Some of the design features include re- mountable screen rings to allow re-meshing to be performed on site,

quick clamp systems for easy dis- assembly without the need for special tools, 2 year warranty on the vibrator motor and various mesh de-blinding systems including food grade balls, plastic sliders and an ultrasonic system. The company’s VPM range is designed to work as a batch capacity screen or as part of an integrated system, these units are suitable for powder separation this could be de- dusting, check screening or multiple separation for various products and processes. The VPM range are supplied in four different sizes, 750 mm, 915 mm, 1200 mm & 1500 mm in diameter, each machine can be specified with 1 to 3 process decks. Each machine can be tailored to suit individual product and site requirements and can be supplied with range of accessories to aid product efficency and throughput. Machines are manufactured from 304L stainless steel as standard, with non-contact parts manufactured from 304L and mild steel galvanised plated.
