Cuccolini Srl founded in Quality screening

1946 was the first Italian manufacturer to produce circular vibratory screening equipment.

S

ince then the company has grown into a market leader for circular screens with agents and subsidiaries throughout the world, supplying specialised separation equipment across a broad range of process industries. Sales Director, Mr Achille Rinaldi says: “Thanks to our innovative approach, we have made a name for ourselves in the industry, serving customers with a wide range of products designed especially for screening, refining and removing iron from glazes, fluids and powders.”

Now part of the Virto Group, which is an integrated group of businesses, the company operates in three related but diverse areas: • Process Separation Equipment Manufacture, sales and support through the Virto – Cuccolini Equipment Group.

• Provision of turnkey process technology for customers where the company’s ScreenX equipment provides a unique solution to applications that cannot be addressed by standard screening methods.

• Application of modern screening techniques in the recovery of valuable products from tailing dumps in the mining, metal and minerals industries using the ScreenX multi-frequency vibration system.

manufacture of vibratory separation equipment for bulk processing industries. The company have a range of solutions to improve your product quality and ensure that your powders and liquids are free from contamination. Mr Rinaldi continues: “Our Company’s vibrating sieves, mills, magnetic separators and pumps are sold worldwide. We are able to meet whatever is required, delivering a solution that can help our customers improve the quality of their product and avoid any contamination. We truly are a company with a high reputation for consistently delivering quality products in an honest manner. We are proud of our reputation in the business and we will carry on working towards guaranteeing a great quality product at a reasonable price.” Virto-Cuccolini are proud to boast one of the largest and most competitively priced ranges of screening machines available worldwide, with machines available from just 450 mm in diameter to the high capacity 2,400 mm diameter multi-deck tumbler sifting machines.

Their products include the patent protected ScreenX range of circular and rectangular screening machines fitted with the unique MFVexcite®

muti-frequency vibration

technology that surpasses any other mesh screen aid available on the market today. This system allows products to be screened finer, more efficiently, more economically and at significantly higher capacities. MFVexcite®

has been proven to deliver a

significant gain in the economic output of process plant by creating new products due to

the ability to screen at much finer levels than before, improvement in the efficiency of the process due to more accurate screening and a higher throughput, a reduction in the consumption of energy as the MFVexcite® system typically uses less electricity per tonne of material processed and a positive environmental impact as more material is recovered. MFVexcite®

stands for multi-frequency

vibration, the effect of this vibratory action is the amplification of the amplitude created by the out-of-balance motors via adaptors that transmit this multi-frequency 'chaotic' vibration directly to the screening surface. Conventional screeners need to be equipped with tensioned screens connected with the screen body/ring and are then fitted with balls, sliders, ultrasonics or other means to try and minimise mesh blinding. The ScreenX machines use un-tensioned process screens with a heavy duty course undersupport mesh that last much longer and the de-blinding is done by the MFVexcite technology – powerful, reliable, purely mechanical and free from wear.

The RS/ RD range consists of both single and a twin deck rectangular configuration, all machines are manufactured from heavy duty mild steel with a special stainless steel version available for specific applications. The units can be configured with the vibrator motor mounted on the top of the screen or on the underside depending on the product specification and site requirements. The general operating range of this equipment is on mesh apertures of 10 mm and less, some
