HiB Introduces Fire Rated LED Showerlights

H

iB, the Bathroom Lighting, Mirrors, and Cabinets specialist, has introduced a comprehensive range of Fire Rated LED Showerlights. An increasing requirement for bathroom designers, retailers and specifiers, the Showerlights offer up to 90 minutes of fire protection and are IP65 rated – making them safe electrical fittings for bathroom schemes.

In addition, with the four Showerlights, you will never have to replace a light bulb again. They are also dimmable and best of all, offer considerable energy savings: up to 80% when compared to a conventional, 50W mains halogen lamp. There is a choice of cool white or warm white illumination with chrome or white finished surrounds. All of HiB’s Fire Rated Showerlights come complete with LED

drivers. Cool white Showerlights output 580 lumens, whilst warm white Showerlights have an output of 480 lumens. Commenting on the demand for Fire Rated LED Showerlights, HiB’s Steve Kaye says,

“Bathroom retailers, designers and specifiers are really embracing LED lighting; what was once a niche lighting sector has seen rapid growth, with new technology making LED fittings becoming increasingly viable for the majority of bathroom schemes and especially for showering areas. However, legislation demands that many of these installations must use fire rated LED lighting. ”
