eCommerce fulfilment company Spark Response is targeting further growth in 2013 after a successful 12 months which saw it pick up two major awards and win significant new business. Gateshead‐based Spark was named Outsourced Contact Centre of the Year at the North East Contact Centre Awards and won the Large Business accolade at the Culture for Success Awards. Both awards recognised the company’s outstanding approach to its people and the customer service it provides to clients and their customers.
Spark also added to its growing portfolio after joining forces with the UK’s number one scooter company Micro Scooters and pen retailer The Pen Shop. Peter Slee, MD, said: “As a result of recent wins like this, and existing client growth, we have increased our footprint to 200,000 square foot and shipped an additional 500,000 items during our peak season.”
The company also provided call centre support to Sport Relief 2012 and will be supporting Comic Relief 2013 this March.
