SOLE|TRADER take a step in the right direction and catch customer orders in-store with online ordering.
High street shoe retailer SOLE|TRADER has introduced iPads into all of its UK stores with a private WiFi network from Vodat International. The new system enables SOLE|TRADER to securely process transactions through the store checkout as well as online, thus giving customers immediate access to both in‐store and online stock.
Supplied by Vodat, the Meraki WiFi network connects the in‐store iPads to Twinmar’s network which in turn enables secure payment transactions as customer card data doesn’t touch public WiFi. The private wireless network communicates with the server to process transactions at any point within a store; without the solution from Vodat, this would not be possible.
David Bordon, IT Director at SOLE|TRADER believes that Vodat International offers an unrivalled service: “The communication that has been enabled through Vodat’s system is very robust and gives us much flexibility within our business.
