On 13 September, The International Space Orchestra (ISO) performed the world premiere of Ground Control: An Opera in Space – a concert inspired by mission control rooms. The ISO is made up of scientists drawn from NASA Ames Research Center, SETI (Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence), Singularity University and the International Space University. For the performance, sound designer and mix engineer Alan Chang used a large assortment of Lectrosonics wireless microphone
