TheACDAEastern Division Conference—“Creating a Choral Community”—will bring together some of the division’s best talent, as well as nationally respected leaders in the field.The conference will feature more than 40 Interest Sessions on such topics as conducting andrehearsal skills, the latest in choral research, performance prac- tice, teaching literacy,andmany others.

AKA was createdby nine HowardUniversity students in 1908,and is the oldest Greek-lettered organization establishedby African-Amer- ican college-educated women.Since then, the sorority has grown to include 260,000 members in graduate and undergraduate chapters worldwide,and maintains a tradition of leadership and service.
