Farnell receives European Distributor of the Year award from VARTA Microbattery GmbH


Farnell has been presented with the European Distributor of the Year Award for 2011 by VARTA Microbattery GmbH, the global manufacturers and designers of rechargeable and primary battery systems. The award, presented to Robert Rospedzihowski, Commercial Sales Director, Farnell Europe, is in recognition of the excellent relationship built over the last year in addition to Farnell’s success in growing customer numbers in targeted focus countries, and increasing sales of VARTA’s battery ranges across Europe. Farnell stocks over 200 product


lines from VARTA’s extensive offering including rechargeable and non- chargeable batteries and cells. VARTA were particularly impressed by Farnell’s new product introduction (NPI) process and service offerings via its leading online community, element14, of which VARTA’s European Distribution Manager / KAM Nordic, Andrew Cranke is an active industry expert who regularly posts and interacts with the element14 community. “This award is an honour for our
