Datest acquires XD7600NT500 Ruby X-ray Inspection System from
Nordson DAGE Datest,a leading provider of advanced, efficient and quality in-circuit testing solutions, has invested in a XD7600NT500 Ruby X-ray Inspection System with X-Plane™ technology from Nordson DAGE. The implementation of
the XD7600NT500 Ruby X-ray will improve Datest’s troubleshooting, failure analysis and bonepile rehabilitation efforts. Additionally, the X-Plane™ technology will speed up the detection of defects that were previously undetectable with conventional X-ray technology without damaging the board. Datest’s President Rob Boguski
commented about the new system, “The acquisition of the Nordson DAGE Ruby X-ray Inspection System with X-Plane™ technology further augments Datest’s growing reputation as the premiere failure analysis and bonepile rehabilitation center for board-level products. The system significantly upgrades Datest’s power, precision, versatility and cost effectiveness in the troubleshooting field.” “We are extremely pleased to
have Datest select the Nordson DAGE System. Datest represents the highest quality of PCBA test services and we look forward to working with them,” commented Hal Hendrickson, Sales Director – Global Accounts X-ray. The Nordson DAGE XD7600NT500
Ruby X-ray is the ultimate inspection system with QuickView CT. The inspection system uses the latest technology image intensifier and proven feature recognition capability to provide the ultimate choice for the highest quality in X-ray imaging on

DELTA Launches ASIComplete
partner program DELTA, the European leader in ASIC supply chain services, announced today the immediate availability of its new ASIComplete program – an innovative European partnership program for ASIC design houses and fabless vendors. The program offers a single interface to full semiconductor manufacturing services including: tape-out, test, package and full turnkey supply chain. The goal of the ASIComplete
the market today. Equipped with the unique
Nordson DAGE NT maintenance- free, sealed transmissive X-ray tube, providing 0.5µm feature recognition and up to 10 W of power, together with the Hamamatsu 4” XY move/tilt image intensifier and digital camera, the XD7600NT500 Ruby is the clear choice for the greatest performance and highest magnification of real- time imaging. With the revolutionary X-Plane™
option, the superior image quality that Nordson DAGE X-ray systems always provide can now be extended into separating individual layers at a level of excellence that the traditional laminography technique cannot achieve. X-Plane™ uses a proprietary, patent applied for, tomosynthesis, or CT technique to create 2-D X-ray slices in any plane of a printed circuit board assembly without the need to cut or destroy the board. program is to provide one-point- of-contact to all manufacturing processes. Semiconductor production services require tools and methodologies, along with well-trained teams. DELTA works with foundries, packaging houses, its own in-house test floor and its failure analysis teams to provide best in class solutions. “We realiszed the European
market is missing an ASIC production Eco-system for companies who develop an ASIC in-house, using their own design engineers,“ says Sharon Akler, Sales Manager at DELTA. “Until now, ASIC design houses have had to work with multiple suppliers and coordinate the various activities between them, incurring significant delays, risk and overhead. DELTA’s ASIComplete program reduces that risk and enables ASIC design houses and fabless vendors to get access to a robust ASIC supply chain vendor and thereby focus on their real core competence.”
