In addition to seeing Meredith Eastman Principe at her wedding in August, I got
together with her, Amber Maurer Wylie,
and Heather Howell in December at the opening of Amber’s photography show at Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining, NY. We had dinner in Peekskill (yes, the “Facts of Life” Peekskill!) with Amber’s husband Glenn and son Justin. I’m now on Skid more’s alumni board, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions, ideas, or issues. On campus for meetings in Oc tober (my trip reminded me of just how special and spectacular Saratoga is, especially in the fall), I enjoyed an after-
noon with Kir stin O’Rielly Drabek and
children Eliza beth, Charlotte, and new addition Teddy. Back home in NYC, I attended a Guster concert in November with Adam Wald at the Beacon Theater. And now that Josh Weiner has moved from Ho bo ken, NJ, to Manhattan, I enjoy seeing him more often. We extend our condolences to the family of Mark Givens, who died in December. Mark was a free spirit who lived an incredibly full life. His part- ner, Neesha Zollinger, says, “He was a kind and compassionate soul who loved his family and could strike up a friendship with anyone he met,” adding that he was “a gifted athlete with a passion for rock climbing....a wonderful and complex individual who had a great appreciation for the diversity and beauty of life.” He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched.
