Joel Quadracci’s printing firm, Quad - Graphics, has arranged to acquire World - color, the second-largest print/digital serv- ice in the Americas. Along with remaining CEO and president, Joel will also become chair of the board. QuadGraphics will now be a publicly traded company, but Quad’s shareholders will have 60 percent of the shares, and the Quadracci family will re - tain 78 percent of the voting control. Joel says the deal marks “the dawn of an excit- ing new era” for his company. We welcomed daughter Althea to our family last April. Maya, 7, loves her little sister more every day. My business, grant winners.net, has some great new team members. I’d be thrilled to hear from any nonprofit organizations needing help winning grants. I recently com pleted the Na tional Novel-Writing Month activity on line and will see if I can shape those 50K words into a novel.
