TEAM/POSITION: Rochester Rattlers, M
AGE: 26
HOMETOWN: Oakville, Ont. HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-2, 195 COLLEGE: RIT
MacIntosh and Jordan
Wolf might be the most lethal pick-and-roll
combination in the league. Also a polished box lacrosse player, MacIntosh can finish, feed, face off and play defense. Opposing coaches regularly dread preparing to stop him on the low wing because of his ability to thread passes to rolling teammates, even when the defense talks through the two-man game perfectly.
34. DAVE LAWSON
Team/Position: New York Lizards, M
Age: 26
Hometown: Westford, Mass.
Height/weight: 6-1, 203 College: Duke
One of the best players in the MLL at getting to his dominant hand and creating his own shot. He scored 19 of his 25 goals in 2015 with his strong left hand; of those, 11 were unassisted. He fits very well on the right side in New York’s top-down attack, then skip and re-dodge offense.
33. BRENT ADAMS
TEAM/POSITION: Boston Cannons, M
AGE: 25
HOMETOWN: Norwalk, Conn.
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-1, 165 COLLEGE: Fairfield
Arguably the fastest sprinter in the league, Adams’ ability to open up his hips while maintaining his top speed demonstrates a level of athleticism matched only by NFL cornerbacks. His outstanding two-way play enabled the Cannons to play fast and earned him a well-deserved All-Star nod.
32. JOEY SANKEY Team/Position:
Charlotte Hounds, A Age: 24
Hometown: Warminster, Pa.
Height/weight: 5-5, 160
College: North Carolina In his first MLL
game, Sankey showed the world what he could do at this level, scoring five goals and adding three assists against a normally stingy Boston defense. Teams responded by putting their best defender on him and hoping Sankey didn’t kill them. If he follows the recent trend of players improving as professionals, then the 2015 league rookie of the year will be unstoppable.
31. BRIAN KARALUNAS
TEAM/POSITION: Ohio Machine, LSM
AGE: 26
HOMETOWN: Dewitt, N.Y. HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-0, 185 COLLEGE: Villanova
Trapped at close defense in New York, Karalunas was unleashed during his first season in Ohio. He caused more turnovers (31) than any LSM in the league while anchoring an up- tempo, early-sliding Machine defense which surrendered merely 12.2 points per 45 possessions (second in MLL) in 2015.
