D. U.S. Figure Skating appointed judges may instruct skaters who have not passed any U.S. Figure Skating pre-preliminary or higher tests. Such instruction must be as part of a learn-to-skate or Basic Skills lesson program. Judges who instruct under these guidelines maintain their eligibility to judge.
