Okpara Rice (BS ‘95) assumed the role of chief executive officer at Tanager Place on July 1, 2015. Rice joined Tanager Place as executive director in July 2013 and previously served as executive director of Starr Columbus in Columbus, Ohio.
John C. Robak (MBA ‘95), president and chief operating officer of Greeley and Hansen, was appointed by US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker to serve on the Environmental Technolo- gies Trade Advisory Committee.
Jeffrey Antonelli (BA ‘96) of Antonelli Law, which specializes in federal drone law, an- nounced the launch of Drone Democracy, a lower-fee Section 333 service intended to help potential operators of commercial unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) obtain legal clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Brian D. Gallagher (LLM ‘97) was named the first assistant prosecutor of the Guam Attorney General’s Office, Prosecution Division. He remains assigned to the homicide/major crimes division.
Callista Gould (MBA ‘97) launched a new website for her business, The Culture and Man- ners Institute. She has taught etiquette training programs across the US and China, with clients including GE, Wells Fargo, Georgetown University, Northwestern University, and Johns Hopkins.
Anant M. Deoras (BBA ‘99), a real estate agent with Koenig Rubloff Realty Group of Chicago, received the prestigious President Circle Award for selling at least 50 Chicago area properties.
Dr. Kevin B. McCruden (JFRC Fall ’99, PhD ‘02) was promoted to full professor of religious stud- ies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washing- ton and was the 2013-14 recipient of the Gonzaga University Exemplary Faculty Award.
Ami Talati Hannam (BS ‘99) and Bradley David Hannam announce the arrival of their first little Rambler, Alexander Lucas Hannam, who was born August 24, 2014. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
2000s
Dr. Dong Y. Han (BS ‘00) was promoted to associate professor of neurology, neurosurgery, and physical medicine rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he now serves as the chief of the Neuro- psychology Service–Clinical Section.
Thomas D. Wilder (MJ ‘00) published his second book, The Ghosts of Wheaton. His first book, The Road to Paradise, was published in 2012.
Joseph H. Michael (JFRC Fall ’01, BS ‘03) was promoted to principal at Slalom Consulting. Early in 2015 he also returned from Antarctica, his seventh and final continent to explore.
April Redzic (BS ‘01) has been named Child- Serv’s vice president of resource development. ChildServ is one of Chicagoland’s oldest child and family services nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Dennis R. Bricault (PhD ‘02) spent the fall se- mester as a Fulbright Core Scholar in Guatemala working with the Universidad del Valle [UVG] and the Ministry of Education, where he gave profes- sional development workshops to more than 1,300 English teachers.
Philip E. Dawkins (BA ’02) wrote two new plays, Charm and Le Switch, which will have their world premieres in Chicago. Le Switch will be produced at Theater Wit January 15–February 21, 2016.
Anne C. Divita Kopacz (BA ‘02) recently became the director of communications for the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola Univer- sity Chicago. For the five years prior to this, she served as director of communications for Erikson Institute, a graduate school in child development in Chicago.
Rita Ghose (JD ‘02) was promoted to partner at Brigitte, Schmidt, Bell P.C. with a practice focused on helping families handle complicated disputes in a non-adversarial manner.
Nicole LeDuc Meehan (BS ‘02, MBA ‘06) is a professional organizer and is the owner of Neat Nic Organizing. She coaches individuals who are overwhelmed by clutter by providing organizing solutions.
Amy G. McCullough (BA ‘02) authored an ad- venture memoir, The Box Wine Sailors. The book details her experiences sailing a 27-foot sloop along the Pacific coasts of the U.S. and Baja with little money and even less sailing experience.
Kathleen A. Paciga (BA ‘02) was awarded an Early Career Research Fellowship, funded by the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media at St. Vincent College and the TEC Center at the Erikson Institute, to research how technology can be useful for prosocial child development in early education.
Monica C. Palermo (JD ‘02) joined Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC and will practice out of the firm’s Chicago office. She represents entre- preneurs, small businesses, and development companies in the restaurant, food service, and hospitality industries.
Veronica D. Vyazovsky (BA ‘02) started an innovative nonprofit serving the needs of Chi- cago’s immigrant and refugee community. Mo- saic Therapy programs provide access to mental health treatment by ensuring access for parents who might be limited in English skills or have difficulty navigating the health care system.
Scott King (MA ‘03, PhD ‘10) was promoted to associate professor of psychology at Shenan- doah University in Winchester, Virginia.
