his copy of Oklahoma Liv- ing magazine you’re hold- ing in your hands marks my 72nd edition. Since having the privilege of becoming editor of this esteemed publication in December 2010, every December issue holds a special meaning to me. It’s also a time to look back on the

Anna Politano Editor,

Oklahoma Living

year’s 11 other editions and refl ect on what we have accomplished. We had a successful year of sharing stories of extraordinary people who make our state a great place to live and to grow. The majority of the stories we shared with you were based on suggestions we received from you and/or your neigh- bors. Listening to you is important to our magazine team. In a recent readership survey, we were pleased to fi nd that 80 percent of Oklahoma Living’s member-readers read four out of four issues. Additionally, 86.6 percent reported they take some type of action after reading Oklahoma Living. Nearly 82 percent of those who responded stated they have internet at home. In order to further enhance your reader experience, our staff has been diligently working to rede- sign your OKL website. Look for more details on this en- hanced website in early 2017. With a growing circulation of 324,000-plus copies each month, we consider it a great responsibility and an honor to serve you. As with every edition, we hope you will enjoy this one.

From stories of co-op Christmas outreaches, winners of the Take Ten photo contest, a special Table Talk feature on Hoboken Coffee, and favorite Christmas recipes from our Oklahoma Living staff, there is sense of celebration through- out this edition. We’re celebrating you, our valued reader, and another successful year of publishing your OKL magazine. As we look into the future, we’re eager to identify new ways to continue enhancing this publication. We will con- tinue to strive to power the needs of new generations by being a valuable resource to you. And here’s to many more editions! On behalf of your OKL staff,
