“ AWARD-WINNING INNOVATION
We extensively searched to find the right company to partner with, a company that would share our values and our commitment to “do the right thing” by our guests. We found that partner in another family-owned company – Scylla, owned by the Reitsma family. Based in Basel, Switzerland, Scylla is involved in the design, construction, outfitting and operations of our riverboat fleet. Together, we have custom-crafted all of our riverboats, working with an amazing group of international engineers, designers and craftsmen to bring these wonderful
vessels to life and transport our guests on innovative, immersive, and authentic travel experiences in towns, villages and cities along the great rivers and waterways of Europe. Our fleet of riverboats, our dedicated crew and our comprehensive itineraries have earned us recognition as the winner of Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best River Cruise Line” for the third time in the last four years. We intend to keep on raising the bar in 2016 as we travel right through the heart of old-world Europe to wow you with extraordinary experiences onboard and ashore.

Just arrived home from The Blue Danube, our first Tauck River Cruise. Your group did an incredible job ensuring that we enjoyed every aspect of our trip. Let us tell you that Tauck far exceeded our expectations. The complete trip was just phenomenal.
– Tom and Mona Sprott, California
Once again, Tauck showed why it’s the premier travel company, and we say this after more than 50 years of extensive travel. The overall superiority of Tauck is in the organization, which includes the choice of accommodations, vehicles and excursions and the competency of the tour directors and guides (walking encyclopedias)... the crew and food on the Scylla ship were excellent... Any future river trip or tour will be with Tauck.
– Robert and Maralys Wills, California
I have enjoyed many cruises in my time but this was the first on a river and the first with Tauck... and after this trip... it certainly won’t be the last of either. The boat and its facilities were excellent; always very clean and pristine. The crew and Tauck staff were ever ready to serve and serve well: with a smile and a cheerful word.
