Dear iScot, I just love the Glaswegian banter! Spoted on Twiter. Glasgow’s self styled “Sellfridges.” K Elder - by E Mail

Dear iScot Where’s your nearest stockist in Arbroath DD11 ?

Hi Laura, Try R S McColls, Unit 4, Timbergreen Estate, Arbirlot Road, Arbroath, DD11 2EW. If they’ve sold out come back to us or, alternatively, order online at www.iscot.scot/subscribe

Dear iScot

Currently the media (and social media in particular) are gearing up for a very long and repetitive debate in the run up to the Holyrood elections in May. It’s going to be an exhausting campaign fought from entrenched positions on all sides. No doubt there are floating voters, but from my - admitedly limited - view on Twiter, most have a good idea where their votes will go. Those that feel strongly, should get off their backsides and start canvassing, where I hope their oſten strident views will be tempered when dealing with the general public.

I do not see this election as a foregone conclusion and plan to canvass for my candidate of choice, however my increasing concern politically is regarding any future EU referendum. Not because I am sure in my views, but the opposite. I have no clue which way I will vote on the day. I would rather not vote Out, but at the same time I am not 100% convinced that In is a good thing, and the more I look into it the more unsure I become.

There is no way, I will be following the official In group, as the odds are it will be Project Fear Part (whichever one we’re up to now.) I’m hoping for clear and un-spun facts, although I doubt they will be forthcoming.

Simone C. e-mail address supplied 98 February 2016 Dear iScot

Three months to go before the Scotish Parliamentary elections and if the polls are accurate then Scotish Labour are in for another disastrous result. Whilst I admit to a certain amount of schadenfreude at the prospect of another Labour doing in May, I genuinely wonder where a credible opposition will come from to hold the SNP to account?

Yours etc E I MacInnes. Wee Minger solution
