by all major debt-advice providers across commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including Citizens Advice, Money Advice Trust, and StepChange. John Fairhurst, policy and external affairs director for PayPlan, said: “We are very pleased to be

one of the first organisations to get involved in this important initiative to improve the consistency with which financial information is used in the debt advice process and across different debt solutions, and we are looking forward to start using the new format.”

Representatives’. Ben Mason, joint CEO of Compliancy Services, said: “Our own discussions with consumer-credit lenders, brokers and other intermediaries, and those in the insurance sector revealed that many firms want to grow or maintain an AR network, but they either lack the knowledge and expertise, or do not have the resources, systems, and processes required to meet the FCA’s obligations.”
