Bunting® Magnetics Co. expands global operations with acquisition of UK-based Master Magnets Ltd


In one of the most significant deals in the industry for many years, Bunting® Magnetics Co. have announced the signing of an agreement to acquire Master Magnets Ltd.


Master Magnets is the Redditch-based manufacturer of an extensive range of permanent and electro-magnetic separation equipment, and metal detection equipment.


The company specialises in solving metal and mineral separation problems in industries such as recycling, mineral process, mining, quarrying and bulk handling. Master Magnets have a global network of distributors, who will now join the Bunting team.


The acquisition will complement Bunting Magnetics Co.’s global foundation, which is already in place through broadened customer reach, new manufacturing capabilities, and the opportunity to sell into new markets.

including Eddy Current Separators, Permanent and Electro Magnets, including Overband Magnets, Drum Magnets and Suspension Magnets.


The company also supplies a full range of Mineral Separation Equipment for customers all around the world. It will continue to operate out of its Redditch, UK headquarters.

The announcement comes after Bunting Europe recently announced a record sales month in September 2016.


Machinex launch their brand new website


CANADIAN based Machinex has launched a new website positioning itself as a Sorting Technologies Expert related to waste and recycling management.


The company has more than 45 years of experience in manufacturing equipment and because of its’ responsive design, the website can adapt to any type of screen: smartphones, tablets, and computers.

It develops cutting edge sorting waste management and recycling technologies and has designed and installed over 350 turnkey facilities in partnership with leading MRFs in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia.
