AIR-SEAL Products have launched a new environmentally friendly tyre sealant, an improved product from the firm that has been helping companies save money on puncture costs and downtime over the past 17 years.
Air-Seal is the well-respected eco- friendly product from the leading company based in Somerset which make tyres last longer.
Air-Seal Products provide more eco friendly sealants
Their range of products ensure that fewer tyres end up in landfill, and their new product also helps maintain correct tyre pressure and saves on fuel costs.
Tyres treated with the Air-Seal Products can still be retreaded, while the sealant is recyclable when tyres are changed - a key advantage over other products.
New for 2017, the heavy duty range has been further improved by the use of Propylene, instead of Ethylene Glycol.

National Space Centre has a blast with new Wastecycle partnership
One of the United Kingdom’s leading visitor attractions is working with waste management and recycling company, Wastecycle, to provide the site with a more effective solution for waste.
The National Space Centre, located in Leicester, started working with Wastecycle at the beginning of September last year, and has since seen a significant improvement in recycling and the recovery of the waste they generate.
Paul Clements, Commercial Director at Wastecycle, said: “The National Space Centre is one of the country’s most visited destinations, so we couldn’t be more excited about helping such an important attraction better manage its’ waste, and become a more environmentally friendly place.
“Our materials recycling facility is located less than a mile from The National Space Centre, and we’re thrilled about being able to use our site and services to make a difference in our local community with one of our closest neighbours.”
As part of the contract, Wastecycle will manage a range of The National Space Centre’s waste streams, including its’ general waste, green waste, dry mixed recycling and glass.
The company will be providing The National Space Centre with reports demonstrating what types of waste are being removed from the site and in what quantities, and will use this information to help increase recycling figures month-on-month.
Since starting the contract, Wastecycle has relocated The National Space Centre’s main waste containers out of public areas, and also replaced old containers with a new efficient solution.
Wastecycle helped divert 94% of waste from landfill during the first two months of working with The National Space Centre.
Paul Clements added: “Over the next 12 months, we will identify even more waste segregation options for The National Space Centre, while increasing recycling across the site by engaging with both in-house staff and visitors and encouraging them to be more green.”
In addition to The National Space Centre, Wastecycle also manages waste and recycling for De Montfort University, Quorn Foods, the University of Leicester and Loughborough University as part of a consortium with the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University.
