GBN Services pledge 98% diversion from landfill, and aspire

GBN Services are known for their strong regional presence across


London and the South East. They are believed to have the largest coverage of any independent skip hire company in London and the South East.

Customers will be given access to a live online portal


CLOCS, FORS and Crossrail are the three key road safety


requirements that GBN Services comply with. They have also held the following accreditations for over 8 years at all operational depots; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001.

Since 2014 GBN have invested £4 million in the production of RDF at our Basildon


and Uxbridge depots. By making these continual investments, GBN have increased the amount of recovered recyclables and dramatically increased recycling rates.


GBN boast one of the largest skip hire fleets in London and the South East. This


includes 160 vehicles, consisting of 115 skip lorries, 15 roll on trucks, and 9 dustcarts.


GBN pride themselves on their quick response, efficient quoting,


and competitive pricing for their customers, something they have maintained for the last 31 years of trading.

On average, GBN collect over 500 skips per day, which results in 7 lorries of bulk


waste leaving each site every day, and 7 baled RDF loads per day.

GBN have an extremely low staff turnover, and offer continuous training to their 246 members


of staff across their six depots. GBN’s continual commitment has resulted in a recent investment of over £250,000 on an in-house driver training scheme and training school, ensuring all staff driving their 160 vehicles are continually monitored and tested.


GBN recently committed £10 million on a new site in the North London area, and are expected to


refurbish and build a state of the art RDF plant, investing over £5 million on new equipment and technology.

In an attempt to improve reporting for customers, GBN are developing a new


system with a technology partner to provide better, and more consistent reporting. Customers will be given access to a live online portal, which they can log in to and monitor orders, and the location of their waste in real time.
