WASTE RECYCLING

JC Enviro cuts landfill costs with new CDEnviro solution

IRISH drainage specialist JC Enviro, looking to significantly expand their business and reduce landfill burden, recently invested in new equipment from waste solutions company CDEnviro.

The mobile dewatering unit will allow the extraction of rag and grit from a variety of waste water systems, including digester cleanouts, storm tank cleaning and gully waste.

The dual-stage washing and recycling system for any solid/liquid mixture that requires classification or dewatering, will allow JC Enviro to reduce the weight and volume of waste by dewatering solids.

CUTS CARBON FOOTPRINT

As space in existing landfills continues to decrease, especially for specific waste, JC Enviro felt this solution would help their business grow by cutting landfill disposal costs.

The CDEnviro technology decreases the amount of material JC Enviro sends to landfill by approximately 80%, and the mobile unit also allows JC Enviro to reduce their carbon footprint by dewatering solids directly at the site.

The two companies have been working together since 2013 to develop a solution to benefit JC Enviro’s business, and help propel them towards the forefront of the drainage industry.

JC Enviro took part in a trial of a mobile unit to test their material. After that was successful, CDEnviro designed a mobile unit

specific to JC Enviro’s processing needs and abilities.

The G:MAX mobile unit will be installed at JC Enviro’s headquarters in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, in early 2017.

CDEnviro operates across 4 sectors - Landfill Diversion, Recycling Waste Water, Environmental Remediation and Energy from Waste.

Established in 2006, it is a well-established family business founded in 2006 by father and son, John and Lee Conlon.
