RUBBLE MASTER and Red Knight 6 team up to offer customers world class impactors
The technology behind impactors has come a long way and RUBBLE MASTER, which has an outstanding 25 year old reputation, is at the leading edge of innovation.
The pride in the brand is evident, as development and design improvement is what the company specialises in. RUBBLE MASTER, under the leadership of
Gerald Hanisch, constantly looks at improving their product for an ever- increasing market. To quote Gerald:
“Processing mineral materials is more than business to us – it is a way of life.” With low running costs and high volumes,
the RUBBLE MASTER RM70GO processes 150 tonnes of C&D waste per hour – volumes which are hard to achieve with almost all 30-tonne jaw crushers. The weight versus output indicator is out of
date, and not applicable when considering impact crushers process 150 TPH from a 75mm
50
down feedstock and a 20mm final product. Through fracturing rather than
compressing, an impactor always gives an angular product essential to pass BS EN 933 – Part 3 Determination of Flakiness index. This is a certificate required for
concrete aggregate used in the commercial marketplace. And with this angular product comes the benefit of better compaction from material placed in-situ. Another advantage in choosing
impacting is an ability to process high volumes in asphalt applications without blockages and the “dumping” often experienced when trying to use a jaw – which also contaminates the whole pile with oversize. Impactors include an application to crush
glass, which produces sand often used as a CL 515 narrow filter drain material, or 2C Granular fill.
SHM December 2016 Issue 132 The RUBBLE MASTER impactor enables a
crusher to get in to the most awkward of sites and still achieve high tonnages. Red Knight 6 Ltd (RK6), the RUBBLE
MASTER dealer for the UK who work with customers to analyse their requirements, deliver the best solutions available for the needs of those in the market for a world class impactor.
