LANCASHIRE

The Lancashire Club has had a few busy weeks this spring with the Annual Dinner Dance held in March at The Barton Grange Hotel, a new venue this year which proved popular with all the tickets selling. The dance floor was full all night with entertainment from Daniel Sings ensuring everyone had a good night following a delicious meal. It was nice to have guests from neighbouring clubs and we were particularly honoured to have Holstein UK president Randolph Miller and his wife Marlene join us for the evening. Randolph very kindly presented the NatWest Trophy for the Lancashire HYB Young Achiever Award to Nick Eccles (pictured below).

At the AGM the president Alan Robson, chairman David Booth and vice chairman Mark Atkinson were elected to serve for a second year. Four new members were elected to the committee Mark Cornthwaite, Kirkwood herd, James Tomlinson, Bilsrow herd, David Martin, Lordsplain herd and Tom Stable, Boltonmanor herd.
