Fly’n Ducks Duckpin bowling attraction


QubicaAMF has reimagined the duckpin bowling format to better meet the needs of today’s consumers and operators with a new duckpin attraction, Fly’n Ducks. With up to eight realistic MotoGP bike mock-ups that can run simultaneously, the Motorbike Sim Lite offers a combination of passive and rider-operated interactions for unparalleled excitement and realism. Each bike incorporates an authentic mechanism for leaning the machine while a handlebar force feedback system accurately simulates motorbike handling. Riders can operate the throttle, clutch, gears and hand and foot brakes, and a lifelike soundscape precisely replicates RPM (revolutions per minute). Visual options include single or multi-screen displays or projections and virtual reality (VR) headsets. An eight-bike experience requires approximately 20 m2 floor area.

APT SKIDATA Smart Technology


APT SKIDATA has launched a new mobile-based digital solution to deliver greater operational effi ciencies and enhanced fi nancial returns for visitor attractions using its people access solutions. The smart technology allows APT SKIDATA’s clients to use their own smartphone to visually share any technical diffi culties with APT SKIDATA’s support team in real time via a dedicated App. The APT Engineers can then diagnose faults and instigate repairs remotely, maximising equipment uptime and supporting a better visitor experience. The solution is powered by SightCall, an augmented reality (AR)-enabled visual assistance platform.

In SpectraVerse Odyssey attraction, each guest engages with real-time interactive media content as their group travels from scene to scene in a pulsed, walk-through experience. In SpectraVerse Quest attraction, squads roam freely in a competitive or cooperative interactive gaming environment that adapts to each player’s perspective. Both confi gurations are complemented by themed scenic environments, surround sound audio-scapes, lighting, special effects, and other show elements, utilising 3D positional tracking and a real-time game engine to generate dynamic content and perspectives that are specifi c to each individual guest.


Embedwins two awards There were two award wins for Embed at the Amusement Expo: the cashless management systems supplier won the Best Booth Design Award and the AMOA Operator’s Choice Award.Embed's show presence stand was dominated by itsMobileWallet, a virtual game card that can be added to the Apple Wallet or Google Pay and the Bling bar that showcased the company’s RF media and wearables. New IP for FECs from Amusement Logic


Amusement Logic is to offer the opportunity to develop popular cartoon series Winx Club into an FEC concept. First launched on TV in 2004, Winx Club has become one of the most loved girls’ properties of all time, featuring core values crossing cultures and time such as female empowerment, empathy, diversity, friendship. An outdoor or indoor facility with a floor area ranging anywhere between 2,000 and 10,000 m sq could offer a wide range of activities based on the adventures of the Winx Club characters. Amusement Logic believes that pairing an FEC with the WINX brand offers a great entertainment option for shopping centres, as an addition to existing entertainment parks or even as a stand-alone venue.
