BRASIL fue el tema más discutido en G2E Las Vegas


Durante tres días en Las Vegas, G2E 2016, Brasil estuvo


prácticamente en el pensamiento de todos y la agenda de muchos ejecutivos que tienen mucho interés en el país como consecuencia de los avances en la legislación de juegos en el Congreso. Ya sea directamente o por implicación, la pregunta era, “¿cuándo se aprobará la ley de juegos de azar en Brasil?


Había mucho interés en juegos de bingos por muchos


empresarios de juego brasileño, debido a propuestas en PL 442/91 aprobado por la Comisión Especial de la Cámara de Diputados, la cual tiene disposiciones para la operación de juegos de video bingo, cuando el juego se convierte en legal en el país.


Sin duda la adquisición por NOVOMATIC Gaming Industries (NGI) del 60 por ciento en la compañía de video bingo OtiumGI, S.L., vio la presentación del nuevo producto en la feria en su espectacular stand, mientras que otros productos también se lucieron en los stands de mayor capacidad que en años anteriores, de líderes mundiales como, Aristocrat, Ainsworth, IGT, Scientific Games, Merkur y Konami.


Zitro se encuentra en puesto de vanguardia, como el fabricante líder de juegos de video bingo en el mundo, aunque más importante porque su propietario, Johnny Ortiz fue un operador líder en Brasil antes de bingos cerraran en 2004. No hace falta decirlo, pero los líderes de la industria van a luchar pulgada por pulgada para tener participación en el mercado brasileño, donde habrá; como dijo un experto local, “¡espacio para todos”!

BRAZIL is on everyone’s agenda at G2E For three days in Las Vegas during G2E 2016, Brazil was on


practically everyone’s mind and many top executives’ agenda. There was much interest in the country following progress on gaming bills currently in Congress. Either directly or by implication, the question was: “When will the gaming law be approved in Brazil?”


There was much


interest in bingo games from many Brazilian gaming businessmen, owing to proposals on PL 442/91, approved by the Special


Commission of the House of Representatives, which has provisions for the operation of video bingo games when the game becomes legal in the country.


The acquisition by NOVOMATIC Gaming Industries (NGI)


of a 60 percent stake in the video bingo company OtiumGI S.L. saw the presentation of the new product at the Show in their spectacular booth. Other products also shone in booths with increased capacity for global leaders such as Aristocrat, Ainsworth, IGT, Scientific Games, Merkur and Konami.


Zitro was in pole position, as the leading maker of video bingo games in the world, most importantly because proprietor Johnny Ortiz was a leading operator in Brazil before bingos were closed in 2004. Needless to say, industry leaders will fight inch by inch for a share in the Brazilian market, where there will be, as one local expert said, “room for all”!
