What is your current role and how long have you been doing it? My current role is Managing Director of Lecico Bathrooms. I have been in the role since the latter part of 2010.


What does your role entail? My role encompasses all areas for the business, sales, marketing,   we recognise that all of these factors   to our customers.


How did you get started in this industry?

ON THE MOVE


• Hanson Cement’s bulk products division has promoted John Doolan to key account manager, while Neil Jackson becomes field sales manager. They will report to Mark Hickingbottom, national commercial director – bulk cement. Doolan has worked for Hanson Cement for a number of years in different roles, while Jackson was previously Hanson’s area sales manager for the Midlands


• Lords Builders Merchants incorporating George Lines (Civils & Landscapes Merchants) have appointed Mark Bone as their commercial director. Bone sold George Lines to Lords in January and remained with the business during the hand over. Bone will be responsible for group supplier and customer relationships representing both brands within in the industry.


• Brett Martin Plumbing & Drainage has appointed Adam Filkins as territory sales representative. With more than 20 years’ experience in


the industry, he will be responsible for merchant and contract sales of the company’s underground, soil and waste and rainwater products in Kent, South East and South West London areas.


• Andy Kaye has joined the Stelrad sales team to look after the south east of England. He has worked in the heating industry since 1992, having started his career as an apprentice, installing boilers and bathrooms. He has worked for 16 years in external sales teams for leading boiler manufacturers.


• Keyline has strengthened its rail division with the appointment of a new office manager. Charlie Hurst will support


the continued growth of the division within her new role at the new Rail and Geotechnics Office in Leeds.


• EcoTherm Insulation, has appointed Richard Macalister as its new area sales manager for Wales and the West Midlands. He joins EcoTherm after


five years with sister company, Building Innovation Ltd.
