The staff there gave useful advice in many areas that enabled us to make further savings from our original plans.” A multi-unit VRF V5X Series system was used at Liberty Leisure with heat recovery. The V5 series contain DC inverter scroll compressors which claim a 25% energy saving and use R410A.

The operating temperature ranges are cooling: -5°C-48°C; and heating: -20°C-24°C. The V5 X series has a range of capacities, from 8HP to 88HP, which means that application can range from small to large buildings.
F-Gas engineers. “We are therefore able to off er seven years warranty on all VRF systems installed or fi nal commissioned by our engineers,” he said. “We also provide the Midea centralised software management control, which will be going into two of our next projects and into the Ibis hotels we are currently working on.” With so many projects on the go, the future is looking better still. “We have several large VRF projects that we are already working on,” said Mr Martin, “and there are several enquiries coming to our team every week for these types of solutions.”
One such project was for the Liberty Leisure Centre in Droitwich Spa.
