Midea makes waves at Liberty Leisure
Air Conditioning Centre was founded 13 years ago, and despite the deep recession and extraordinary political landscape of recent years, has seen sustained growth and, more recently, expanded with the launch of VRF Centre.

“We established our light commercial and consumer product division, Air Conditioning Centre some 13 years ago and it is now the largest independent importer of air conditioning systems in the UK,” says Mr Martin. “Then we came to realise that there was defi nitely a commercial space that needed to be fi lled. Someone that could supply the same quality as the ‘big boys’ but off er real value. “It was from that idea that we created VRF Centre, which we believe to be the perfect solution to fi ll that market. VRF Centre provides VRF and HRV systems which are all manufactured directly for us by Midea.”

decade, so it seemed fi tting that we should now embark on creating the best solution provider for Midea VRF and HRV in the UK.”
Some still view China manufactured products with suspicion, but Mr Martin disagrees. “Midea has become a trusted name in the industry and the alternative choice of many discerning contractors,” he says. “These are contractors who need to off er their client real world value for money in the systems they are specifying, while retaining the excellent performance and extended warranties that are off ered by more well-known brands in the UK.”
Moving onto the specifi c products VRF Centre off ers, Mr Martin said: “VRF Centre stocks 2 pipe and 3 pipe heat recovery systems from Midea under its Air Conditioning Centre branding, which is already well known in the industry.”
With regards to off ering the extended warranties, Mr Martin explained that the support the company was receiving through its partnership with the manufacturer meant that VRF Centre has Midea-trained and qualifi ed
