Green Point UK

Green Point UK has launched a new commissioning and health check service for refrigeration contractors. The service is designed to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of Bitzer compressors and condensing units. Proper commissioning is critical to achieving peak effi ciency and reliability. Green Point UK’s new service provides professional on-site support by experienced Bitzer commissioning specialists, ensuring that every detail is correct before start-up. Building on this, the new annual health checks help maintain compressors in peak condition, ensuring they continue to operate within original factory performance parameters. These checks include:

Oil analysis to detect potential issues before they cause failures; Testing sensors and capacity controls to verify correct operation; Ensuring units operate within factory-specifi ed limits. Compressor performance is infl uenced by the choice of refrigerant and the application. Green Point UK engineers can use the full range of Bitzer analytical tools, including the Bitzer Digital Network (BDN), specialist software such as the Bitzer Electronics Service Tool (BEST), and the engineering resources of Bitzer headquarters in Germany to optimise compressor performance for a particular application and refrigerant. Will Pribyl, general manager of Green Point UK, said: “Compressors

are at the heart of cooling and heat pump systems. Any performance issues with this key component quickly impact the system’s ability to deliver eff ective cooling or heating. Our combination of professional commissioning support and annual health checks gives contractors total peace of mind, ensuring systems run as designed, while enhancing the value they off er to end users.” By combining commissioning support with regular health checks, contractors and end users benefi t from improved reliability, enhanced effi ciency, lower running costs, and reduced risk of downtime.

“Our service integrates seamlessly into planned preventive maintenance programs, helping to detect and resolve potential issues before they become costly problems,” said Pribyl. The service covers all Bitzer compressors and condensing units supplied either directly by Bitzer UK or through distributors.
