onex Bänninger has appointed of two new regional technical sales
managers. Brett Wharmby (above left) has joined the company with responsibility for driving brand awareness and growth in the Midlands, with Noel Kelly (above right) taking up his new role covering the North of England. Mr Wharmby brings over 20 years of expertise to his role, having previously spent two decades progressing his career in the commercial sales team at Vaillant. Mr Kelly joins Conex Bänninger from Valves Instruments Plus – a specialist supplier of engineering and plumbing solutions to the building and construction sector. Mr Wharmby and Mr Kelly’s
responsibilities include maintaining and developing relationships with Conex Bänninger’s existing customers, whilst also raising the
profile of the brand and driving new opportunities with merchants, distributors, contractors and consultants.

ooltech has appointed Scott Mason (pictured below) as its new head of sustainability as
the company develops its range of low carbon heating solutions.
Mr Mason, who became the youngest Chair of CIBSE Patrons in July 2021, joins Kooltech on a full- time basis as part of the company’s plans to meet increasing demand for sustainable solutions. He joins Kooltech from the smart energy consultancy Mesh Group and has previously worked at commercial heat pump manufacturers Lochvinar and Adveco. He will continue in his capacity as CIBSE Patrons Chair. With a proven record of working within the HVAC industry, Mr Mason’s recent appointment demonstrates the company’s aim of expanding its recruitment and retention of the next generation of sustainable built environment professionals. Kooltech hopes to play an influential role in driving the decarbonisation of the UK’s commercial and domestic building stock.

ebecca Fox has joined the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) as its new
director of membership. Formerly director of membership and business development at the Association for Project Management, Ms Fox brings a wealth of experience to the role. She was also previously group head of membership at the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply having progressed from general manager for the Middle East and North Africa and before that had a series of international roles at the logistics company DHL.
Ms Fox said she was delighted to be joining an organisation “with an exciting future” representing a sector that is central to so many of the biggest social and economic challenges facing society, such as climate change and levelling up.
F
ollowing the continued growth in its core businesses, Humidity Solutions has welcomed Colin
Turnbull (pictured above) to the team as installation and contracts manager. With extensive experience in the humidity control industry, Mr Turnbull is responsible for evaluating installation projects from the point of site visit, right the way through to delivering a completed project. He ensures streamlined communication between sub-contractors, customers and colleagues to ensure installation projects run seamlessly.
