Commercial Heat Pump S
BLUBOX GEYSER SKY R0 SWEGON
wegon has introduced refrigerant R290 (propane) into several of its product ranges, offering a ‘near zero’ global warming potential (GWP) of 3, and a more sustainable solution than traditional refrigerants. The new GEYSER SKY Hi HP R0 is capable of a seasonal coefficient of performance (COP) of 4.8, which is 40% better than that stipulated by the European Energy Related Products (ERP) directive. The Eurovent-certified product is optimised for heating production,
managing loads from 4 to 31kW and boasts hot water production up to 78°C when the outside temperature is 5°C and above or 60°C at -20°C. In cooling mode, it will still operate with ambient temperatures as low as -10°C and as high as 45°C. Geyser SKY is ideal for residential and light commercial applications. It provides smart defrost and anti- legionella cycles along with DHW production through an integrated 3-way water flow system. It is equipped with
our Blue Think technology and has built-in connectivity for the latest in controls sophistication.
Because it uses R290, the heat pump is equipped with dedicated leak detection and air extraction for safety. It also has several optional extras available to provide very low noise operation making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The judges felt that R290 is the way
forward with better life expectancy in the appropriate applications.
