NEW

Emerson

Emerson has launched supervisory control systems for large facilities to bring customers more control over their facility operation capabilities. Supervisory controls from Emerson allow for simple visibility and control

over refrigeration, HVAC, lighting and more to deliver customers enhanced operational effi ciency, better cost savings and improved connectivity.

Optimized for Emerson’s ProAct enterprise management software and ProAct Alerts mobile app, these supervisory controls collect and analyze data, which gets cloud-processed through ProAct software, apps and advanced services into insights about current conditions, developing trends, performance history and operational metrics. This real-time data can then be used to assist facility and enterprise managers not only respond quickly to issues, but also help them be more proactive in preventing issues that may impact customer experiences, food quality or operating costs. New features include a simplifi ed setup process, improved fi le management, graphics scheduling and a user-friendly interface with multiple display options.

Engie

Engie Refrigeration has added a new refrigerant to its portfolio: all Quantum chillers are now alternatively available with refrigerant R513A, which complies with EU F-Gas Regulation 517/2014. All of Engie Refrigeration’s Quantum

models – air-cooled, water-cooled and split models – can now run using R513A as refrigerant. The refrigerant distinguishes itself by safety class A1 as per EN 378 and a low GWP (global warming potential) of only 631. R513A is non-fl ammable. The new R513A can substitute the former standard R-134a and uses the same compressor types. Using the new refrigerant, a Quantum chiller will reach almost the same refrigeration capacity and energy effi ciency as with R134a.

By employing the new refrigerant R513A, Engie Refrigeration is assisting its customers in transitioning to an alternative for running their refrigeration systems that will remain usable in future. R513A has a low GWP and already meets future requirements of F-Gas Regulation. www.engie-refrigeration.de

Fujitsu First Choice

With summer only just around the corner, First Choice Group is off ering its customers more for their money with some useful van stock discounts.

Engineers who are planning to top up their van stock with essentials like leak detector sprays, cleaning fl uids and thermometers can take advantage of the supplier’s seasonal off er on Schrader access valves and Drain-Line cable.

Refrigeration development manager at First Choice, Steve James, said: “Schrader valves and Drain-Line heating cable are both time saving, cost-eff ective solutions which have become crucial tools of the trade for refrigeration engineers. “That’s why we are now off ering both at discount prices even lower than those advertised in our Refrigeration Van Stock brochure.” The brochure contains over 60 fully illustrated pages, which include extensive details and photographs of more than 1,200 parts, tools and consumables, all coming from a selection of the industry’s leading brands.

Fujitsu Air Conditioning (UK) has introduced a new range of wall mounted R32 units, designed for residential and commercial properties.

There are four models in total,

boasting cooling capacities of 2kW to 4.2kW and heating outputs ranging from 2.5kW to 5.4kW respectively. Available now, each system is ErP rated A++ and benefi ts from a high density multi-path heat exchanger and a high effi ciency fan. All indoor units (ASYG07/09/12/14KMTA) are incredibly slim, measuring 270mm x 834mm, and only 222mm deep, while the combination of a Lamda heat exchanger, large cross fl ow fan and R32 refrigerant ensures high levels of effi ciency.

The products also boast a slim and stylish square aesthetic, as well as a large louvre. In addition, a new internal airfl ow design ensures an even and comfortable distribution of air, as well as quiet operation at 20dB(A).

The outdoor units completing the R32 systems are available in two sizes. The largest capacity model (AOYG14KMTA) measures 540mm x 799mm x 290mm, while the remaining three are 541mm x 663mm x 290mm (AOYG07/09/12KMTA).

For added end-user comfort, there is optional smart control available. www.fujitsu-general.com/uk
