Advanced Engineering’s SmellyJelly range has been expanded and now includes Orange as a zesty new scent option.

An established favourite among acr engineers and their clients alike, SmellyJelly is a quick, cost-effective way to add a memorable finishing touch to services; simply place one in a unit, as close to the discharge point as possible, and the subtle fragrance will leave the air smelling clean and fresh.

More impressive still, thanks to a new, improved formula and the new foil-sealed packaging, the gel blocks can survive up to 65°c, ensuring a pleasant odour for up to six weeks.

The new fragrance joins five existing options: Citrus, Floral, Apple, Morning, and Mountain Fresh. The entire range is available in both the original SmellyJelly form – designed for large fan coil and cassette units – and SmellyJelly Minis, which are

ideal for smaller fan coil units. These minis are perfect for wall- mounted units and, now boasting six jellies to a pack, they’re better value than ever.

In the past few months, Engie Refrigeration has seen particularly high demand for Quantum chillers with the refrigerant R513A. In future, R513A will be used by operators of data centres and hospitals, as well as car-makers

who have recently ordered an air-cooled or water-cooled Quantum. Efficient, non-flammable and more climate-friendly than previous refrigerants, R513A is a pioneering refrigerant. Jochen Hornung, chief executive of Engie, said: “With R513A we are betting even more heavily on sustainability. This refrigerant possesses a lower GWP and therefore already meets the future requirements of the F-Gas Regulation, today. That is how we at Engie help our customers convert their refrigeration systems to an eco-friendly alternative.”

The refrigerant is in demand in all industries and with customers of many scales, from computer centres to hospitals and industrial corporations.

Mitsubishi Electric

Mitsubishi Electric has expanded its chiller offering with two new additions to its Climaveneta portfolio. The new i-NX

air-cooled chiller range is offered in standard and low noise options, whilst the smaller i-BX air-cooled chiller range is available in single and three phase variants, making both ranges ideal for a wide variety of comfort and process cooling applications. The new models employ inverter driven compressors which ensures maximum efficiency at partial loads.

The i-BX range offers capacities from 4-35kW to deliver flexible and reliable units that adapt to the most diverse load conditions, whilst offering accurate temperature control and high levels of energy efficiency both at full and partial loads. All of the hydraulic components for installation are also already included within the outdoor unit reducing added cost. For larger applications, the new i-NX delivers capacities from 43-129kW to offer exceptionally high levels of energy efficiency whether at partial or full load. These models incorporate a fixed speed scroll compressor and a scroll inverter compressor working together in the same circuit, to offer much greater levels of efficiency than traditional fixed speed compressors systems.
