Pfeiffer Vacuum

Pfeiffer Vacuum presents ASM 306 S, which addresses industrial sniffing applications, especially refrigeration and air conditioning. This new product stands for high sensitivity as well as precise and accurate measurements. Leakage control using sniffing measurements before the final refrigerant gas charge, is one of the last steps of the production process. This requires the highest testing reliability to increase productivity and quality levels. The ASM 306 S helps to meet those challenges. The product combines the advantages of a proven technology regarding sensitivity, accuracy and repeatability. The ASM 306 S has been designed to offer fast and repeatable measurements, whether helium or hydrogen is used as tracer gas. This unit offers the fastest recovery in case of big leaks to maximize uptime. Co-designed with the user in mind, the ergonomics of the sniffer probe has been a major focus allowing the operator to be able to hold the sniffer probe during their entire working shift. The high flow probe will help to pinpoint leaks easily without missing any of them. The probe is available with various hose lengths to easily adapt to any application and cables can be exchanged independently from the probe itself. Specific attention has been placed on the robustness of the complete ASM 306 S, including the probe and its cable, to provide a full-time sniffing unit with low cost of ownership. The main display of the ASM 306 S offers easy readability with its 7-inch size, fully tactile and high-resolution screen. www.pfeiffer-vacuum.com

Munters

Operators of roof top condensers are familiar with the stress caused by the summer period, with peak temperatures pushing the condensers to their limit. Munters EC Cool efficiently decreases the inlet temperature of the rooftop condenser, increasing cooling

capacity and preventing unplanned breakdowns caused by high pressure alarms.

Air-cooled refrigeration units are the typical form of heat rejection system installed to provide air-conditioning and refrigeration. Obtaining adequate cooling function always has to be balanced against the higher capital investment and physical installation space of an over-dimensioned system. Moreover the running costs, comprising both life cycle system maintenance costs and energy consumption, are critical factors. Refrigeration plants account for around 10% of the global electricity consumption and is rising. It is therefore no surprise that cost-consciousness and energy conservation play increasingly important roles in new condenser system design and prolongation of the life cycles for existing installations.

Williams

Williams has decades of experience offering a complete coldroom service to hospitals and other healthcare facilities covering a range of purposes. Some of the largest NHS trusts in the UK use Williams coldrooms to service central production kitchens, with installations that include storage, blast chillers/freezers and refrigerated prep rooms. These can be designed in order to help kitchens meet a range of dietary requirements while maintaining strict hygienic standards. Williams coldrooms are completely modular, allowing them to be

customised to fit almost any available space. Where space is limited, they can be installed outside. Constructed using panels with zero ODP foam insulation, Williams offers ceiling, floor and wall panels with camlocks. Every part of the coldroom has a number of options. Doors can be hinged, sliding, personnel style and fitted with viewing panels if required. Floors can be made from a variety of materials and the internal space can be configured with different temperature zones, controlled from a simple touch screen, which can also be customised according to requirements. www.williams-refrigeration.co.uk

Munters retrofit solution supports ambitions on sustainability To support energy efficiency and product life expectancy on these already installed condensers, Munters has developed the EC Cool solution for retrofit installation. Munters EC Cool increases the cooling efficiency of a condenser system, while lowering energy consumption. It fits onto conventional single and double stage condensers and rooftop units, and can be supplied in any length up to approx. 40m of width and 2m in height. EC Cool pre-cools the air entering the condenser system, which improves condenser cooling performance, resulting in lower energy consumption. Benefits include:
