Inta has unveiled its latest HIU - the Hiper II. The original Hiper proved a huge success for Inta, thanks to its compact size, practicality, reliability and value for money.
Benefits of the Hiper II include its electronic PID control unit, which provides constant monitoring of the system and the Modbus communications system, which provides easy-to-understand feedback for users.
Further features such as optimised heating functions, auto-fault diagnostics and pay as you go (prepayment) switching make the Hiper II one of the most user-friendly HIUs on the market. Performance is a key selling point too, as proven by the Hiper II’s successful BESA tests.
Boris Johnson has actively encouraged people to return to work and we expect this to further accelerate the pick up in construction industry activity that began after Easter. The UK government has also issued guidelines in working safely on construction sites, and lifted some restrictions to allow contractors to mitigate the challenges of smaller groups of people on site at any given time.

deliveries fit well with revised operating schedules including extended hours up to 9pm while meeting guidelines to minimise frequency of deliveries wherever possible

These results are achieved due to the use of hydro blocks and the Hiper design, which reduces pipework to a bare minimum. Armstrong Fluid Technology
A new control solution, launched by Armstrong Fluid Technology, will enable operating efficiencies of chiller plants to be improved significantly, delivering energy savings of up to 45% and water savings of up to 12%. New TowerMax is add-on software for Armstrong’s Design Envelope 9521 Integrated Plant Control System. It reduces energy and water usage by harnessing Armstrong’s proven advanced relational control technology to optimise the operation of chiller plant. The set of performance algorithms resident in TowerMax use the flow data from the installed Armstrong Design Envelope (DE) pumps to reduce energy consumption and water usage through more effective heat balance optimisation, and intelligent Best Efficiency Staging of individual items of plant, in line with changes in load. At the heart is the Armstrong DE 9521, which controls the entire plant, including cooling towers, chilled water pumps and condenser pumps in addition to the water-cooled chillers. Lower installed cost is possible with this solution, as Onboard Sensorless technology eliminates the need for external sensors and the related installation costs. Operational costs are also minimised as heat transfer across the plant is controlled accurately and optimised, while Armstrong’s Active Performance Management technology facilitates real time capacity calculation and condition-based maintenance.
