Bitzer and Beijer Ref extend partnership W


holesaler Beijer Ref and compressor specialist Bitzer have renewed their partnership agreement for the upcoming three years, in a move which ensures the worldwide growth and presence of both companies. Beijer Ref and Bitzer have been working together for many years and on 03 July, signed a contract renewal confirming this long-term cooperation. Gianni Parlanti, board member and chief sales and marketing officer at Bitzer, said: “We are looking forward to the next three successful years together with Beijer Ref. High-quality Bitzer products are in demand around the world, and this cooperation is beneficial for both companies due to the Beijer Ref distribution network in Europe, Asia, Africa and New Zealand.


“Our partnership improves the availability and choice of Bitzer products for Beijer Ref customers beyond European borders.”


The new contract covers 44 associated Beijer Ref companies, six of which are located outside Europe. At Beijer Ref, experienced refrigeration engineers work together as specialists for consultancy, sales, storage and dispatch in order to ensure smooth

Aqua heads North T


emperature control specialist Aqua Cooling Solutions has moved into new office space at Thorpe Park business park in Leeds as part of an ongoing expansion strategy.


Aqua launched in the UK in 2000 and opened its first North of England office in York in 2012. The business has grown and diversified over recent years and has recently recruited four new members of staff.


Mike West (pictured), who leads Aqua’s Northern sales division, explained: “Thorpe Park is the ideal


base for us as it’s so accessible and well connected geographically. As the team has grown, it has become more and more important that we have a central base where our sales, service and project management teams can meet up face-to- face, and clients can easily visit.”


Thorpe Park business park is close to the main motorway links and very near to Leeds Bradford International Airport. The new office will act as a base for Aqua’s regional sales and service engineers, as well as their project management resource.

Aqua also has a hire division, Aqua Hire, which supplies temporary heating and cooling solutions to clients.

Quartz and Versatile renew partnership

of TEV, has signed a new partnership deal with technical distributor, Versatile, continuing the successful partnership between the two companies over the last three years. James Carr-Smith, director of Quartz, said: “Quartz is very excited to have signed a new agreement to work in partnership with Versatile, a forward-thinking and pro-active partner in the HVAC sector. “Versatile is the sole distributor for the Quartz brand in the 32 counties of Ireland and has a growing network.
