Adande Refrigeration has developed additional retailer focused features for use with its multi- award winning open front, integral refrigerated Grab & Go cabinet with Aircell. The optional components have been designed to provide merchandising fl exibility and enhanced aesthetics for the display of chilled food-to-go. The Grab & Go cabinet with Aircell can now
be supplied with an adjustable foam back panel, mounted on plastic feet, for each shelf. The back panels are designed to be moved forward manually on the shelf as stock is depleted and not replenished, or when shelves are loaded with a reduced amount of stock. The result is that the cabinet does not look understocked. When the stock on any shelf is exhausted, the back panels may be moved to the front of the shelf to avoid the cabinet appearing empty. The back panels can be decorated with promotional graphics or in retailers’ house styles with logos. Adande has also developed a night blind for use with the Grab & Go cabinet with Aircell. Aircell divides the air curtain into short and separate cells, meaning that the night blind can be partially deployed to cover only some shelves.

Aermec
Aermec has launched a new water-cooled chiller that off ers energy effi ciency even at partial loads. The WMG is a compact chiller designed for indoor installation. It has high effi ciency two-stage magnetic levitation centrifugal compressors, which allow the refrigerant circuit to be oil free. It also has a very low starting current and uses 50% less refrigerant thanks to its patented
spray technology within the heat exchanger. Buildings can present a number of challenges when it comes to replacing chillers, and the WMG’s modular design and component layout simplifi es installations. The units are fi ve times lighter than screw compressors and they can be transported through doorways and into lifts. The fl exibility of the units enables several modules to be positioned side-by-side, ideal in plant rooms with limited space. The modules also provide fl exibility when a standby unit is required or when cooling duty needs to be increased at a later date. There is no need for critical spares as a standby module can be used as a spare chiller instead. Each module is capable of 280-324kW depending on the compressor size, and is available as a standard unit or as a silenced version with a soundproof cowling.

Carrier’s new Eurovent-certified AiroVision 39CP air handling units feature plug-and-play functionality in a modular package, enabling them to be configured for many applications
and be used as the heart of a building’s ventilation system. Available in nine sizes with two casing designs, the units are suitable for standard fresh air-based ventilation as well as low temperature applications. The range is equipped with high performance, high efficiency components, including heat exchangers with up to 85% efficiency, high efficiency direct drive fans and coils/filters with low pressure drop, to deliver outstanding performance, low running costs and a long operational life. The units can be used in applications including offices, industrial installations, shopping centres, airports, leisure centres and universities. The model 39CP-L version is for general and comfort applications, while the 39CP-H version has low thermal-bridging for use in low temperature applications. CIAT
CIAT has launched its new PowerCIAT range of fi xed-speed air-cooled screw chillers that operate from 270-1500kW. The range off ers a variety of cooling solutions in 18 diff erent sizes and three diff erent effi ciencies. The three versions all comply with the 2018 European Ecodesign requirements. The standard version is equipped with fi xed-speed screw compressor and fi xed-speed fans. With a high full-load energy effi ciency, this version meets process cooling requirements with an SEPR up to 5.7. The high-effi ciency (HE) version comes with fi xed-speed screw compressor and variable-speed AC fans. With an SEER up to 4.4 and SEPR up to 6.2, it off ers an economical solution for process cooling and comfort cooling applications. The premium version (XE) has fi xed speed screw compressor and EC fans technology, providing cost-eff ective operations with an SEER up to 4.5 and SEPR up to 6.3, aimed at process and comfort cooling applications. The PowerCIAT range comes in standard with the latest low-noise fans. Variable speed fans on the HE and XE versions adapt to the air fl ow of the unit and eliminate start-stop noise during part-load operation.
