electronica 2016 INTRODUCTION & CONTENTS A look inside tomorrow I
t’s that time again where it seems the entire electronics industry heads over to the Messe Munich Trade Fair for electroncia 2016. The show, which runs from 8th to 11th November, 2016, will see around 2,800 exhibitors showcasing their products and services to what is expected to be an international audience of over 70,000 visitors. This year’s key topics will include semiconductors, embedded, test and measurement, power, interconnection, automotive, industrial, distribution and many more. The show has grown even bigger this year due to increasing demand. Angela Marten, electronica’s exhibition director, said, “Due to a very strong demand, we have added an extra hall to allow us to include new exhibitors and to give exhibitors an opportunity to increase the size of their stands.”
Being a big show, it is easy to get lost. But the show organisers have tried to make it as easy as possible to find their way around the 13 hall event by dedicating each hall to specific product sectors, for example power supplies, displays, semicondutors, automotive, wireless, etc. See the hall plan on pages 4 and 5 for full details.
