Wichita, Kansas-based Legend Senior Living is partnering with Signature Senior Living to own and manage two communities in Pennsylvania, adding a sixth state to their operations portfolio. Legend owns and operates 36 senior living residences also in Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Raydian Properties, headquartered in Ram- sey, New Jersey, acquired four Fox Trail Se- nior Living communities located in Front Royal, Manassas, Orange, and Stephens City, Virginia. Raydian manages 21 other communities across five states.
Senior Lifestyle Corporation, based in Chi- cago, Illinois announced development plans for The Sheridan at Eastside in Snellville, Georgia, with construction slated to begin in fall 2017. The community will feature 81 independent living and 60 assisted liv- ing apartment homes, 24 independent living cottages, and 32 memory care residences. The projected opening date is late 2018.
Shepherd Health, based in Miami, Florida, acquired CountrySide Lakes, a senior living community with 146 residences in Port Or- ange, Florida. Shepherd Senior Living, the company’s operations arm, will manage the community.

Irvine, California-based Silverado is set to grow its footprint. A property being devel- oped in Alexandria, Virginia, is scheduled to open in early 2018, serving as the compa- ny’s first venture into the east coast market. Silverado plans to add more communities around Washington, D.C. and in other east- ern metro areas.
Ventas, based in Chicago, Illinois, an- nounced the purchase of a high-quality life science, research, and medical campus in Providence, Rhode Island. The acquisition expands the company’s relationships with leading research universities and provides significant opportunities for future growth.
