Illinois’s Brookdale Hoffman Estates Golf Road is expanding its dementia care services by con- verting existing space into new apartments, creating Clare Bridge Crossings. The almost $1 million expansion will provide assistance for those in the early stages of dementia.
San Diego’s GreatCall Inc., which offers connected health for active aging, recently introduced its expanded connected health lineup. The Jitterbug Smart and Flip phones and the Lively Wearable enable older adults and family caregivers to choose health and safety solutions that fit their individual needs, allowing for easier integration into their lives.
Legend Senior Living™, based in Oklahoma City, recently debuted a new type of assisted living - HIGHLANDS at Legend™ at Rivendell. This facility is designed to cater to seniors who require or desire a higher level of per- sonal assistance and specialized care.
G5, a digital marketing provider for real estate companies based in Bend, Oregon, recently announced it has been named a Google AdWords™ Premier SMB Partner.
OnShift, a provider of human capital manage- ment software for post-acute care and senior living based in Cleveland, Ohio, recently an- nounced it closed $18 million in Series D fi- nancing. The Series D investment will be used to expand OnShift’s product development and accelerate sales and marketing plans.
Michigan-based American House Senior Liv- ing Communities and REDICO have com- pleted their new project, American House Co- conut Point in Estero, Florida. The American House Coconut Point community includes 194 rental apartments on nearly 14 acres.
The New York office of Hines, an interna- tional real estate firm, and Welltower Inc., a provider of health care infrastructure, recent- ly acquired a development site at 139 E. 56th Street on the northeast corner of Lexington
Allegro Senior Living, LLC, a company specializing in the development and operation of lux- ury senior housing communities throughout Florida, broke ground on their tenth Allegro community in the Casselberry/Winter Park area of Orlando, Florida. The community will contain 158 units within 175,000 square feet offering independent living, assisted living and memory care with services and amenities.
Avenue and 56th Street in midtown Man- hattan. Existing commercial structures will be demolished to make way for construction of a 15-story senior living and memory care community with retail at the base.
Shavano Park Senior Living, managed by In- tegral Senior Living and owned by Meridian Realty Advisors, is now open as a new assist- ed living and memory care community. The Spanish Mediterranean style building draws from the surrounding San Antonio, Texas, architecture.
Greenfield Senior Living will operate 65 as- sisted living and memory care units in Win- chester, Va., in the former Winchester Me- morial Hospital. The building will undergo construction renovations with an anticipated grand reopening in spring 2017. The former hospital currently houses inpatient/outpa- tient rehab services and hospice care.

Argentum recently announced Loren Shook, chairman and CEO of Silverado, based in Irvine, California, has been elected as the

new chairman of the Argentum Board of Directors. Previously, Shook served as vice chairman of the board. Danielle Breton has re- cently been promoted to chief investment officer of LCB Senior Living, LLC, based in Norwood, Mas- sachusetts. LCB also named Adam Lawrence
as executive director of The Residence at Quarry Hill in South Burlington, Vermont. The community, which is scheduled to open later this year, includes independent, assisted and memory care options.
Melinda Ericks has joined Carlton Senior Living as the new vice president of human resources. She previously work in the adver- tising, software and finance industries.
