Fort Worth, Texas-based Sagora Senior Living has rebranded the newly acquired Royal Es- tates of San Angelo, Texas as Lyndale at San Angelo. According to the company, the new name represents Sagora’s commitment to delivering services and programs consistent with their standards. Sagora Senior Living operates 24 communities in four states.
Vitality Senior Living, based in Nashville, Tennessee, has completed the purchase of BrightWater of Victoria and will rebrand the community as Vitality Court. The community features 98 apartments offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Heritage Communities, based in Omaha, Ne- braska, is developing a new community, Or- chard Pointe at Terrazza, in Peoria, Arizona. The community will feature 116 apartments serving independent living, assisted living, and memory care. With construction expect- ed to begin in 2017, a spring 2018 opening is planned.
Lancaster Pollard, headquartered in Colum- bus, Ohio, has opened a new office in Boz- eman, Montana. The office will be led by Matt Lindsay, senior vice president with the financial services firm.
Orlando, Florida-based Sonata Senior Living, has assumed the management of four assist- ed living communities across Florida: Sonata Boca Raton, Sonata Boynton Beach, Sonata Coconut Creek, and Sonata Delray Beach. The four communities offer 340 residences combined. An additional community, Sonata West, is under development and scheduled to open in the summer of 2017.
Solvere Senior Living, based in Princeton, New Jersey, will take over the management of The Brielle at Seaview, a nonprofit assisted living and memory care community located on Staten Island. The community was con- structed in 2015 and is currently undergoing nearly $80,000 in renovations.
Watercrest Senior Living, based in Vero, Beach, Florida, announced that its Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care Community received the 2016 Commercial Development and Beautification Award from the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce. Watercrest Senior Living opened Pelican Landing in April of 2016. Watercrest also announced the opening of their Market Street Memory Care Residence in Viera, Flor- ida, offering 60 memory care residences.

The California Assisted Living Association (CALA) announced Selena Coppi Hornback as associate director of public policy. She will assist CALA in furthering its public policy and advocacy initiatives.
Civitas has hired Dionne Motal as the compa- ny’s first vice president of human resources. In her new role, she will be responsible for strengthening policies and procedures of Ci- vitas communities and providing a formalized structure for company benefits, compensation, employee relations, compliance, policy inter- pretation, recruiting and retention.
HCP, headquartered in Irvine, California, announced the elections of Tom Herzog to chief executive officer and Justin Hutchens to president. Formerly, Herzog served as HCP’s chief financial officer and Hutchens served as HCP’s chief investment officer. Both elec- tions were made effective on January 1, 2017.
