Allegro Senior Living, based in St. Louis, Mis- souri, announced a partnership with PGIM Real Estate to acquire Horizon Bay at Hyde Park, a senior living community in Hyde Park, Florida. The community includes 136 residences offering independent living and assisted living. It will be rebranded as Allegro at Hyde Park.
Benchmark Senior Living, based on Waltham, Massachusetts, celebrated the groundbreak- ing of The Branches of North Attleboro, locat- ed in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. De- scribed as a new “value-smart” community by Benchmark, the community is expected to open in the fall of 2017.
Brightview Senior Living’s parent company The Shelter Group was awarded a 2016 Top Workplaces recognition by The Baltimore Sun, receiving special honors in the area of ethics. Brightview Senior Living is based in Baltimore, Maryland.
Forth, Worth, Texas-based Civitas Senior Liv- ing has been awarded the managing contract for Élan Westpointe, a 113-residence inde- pendent living, assisted living and memory care senior community in New Braunfels, Texas. Civitas’ portfolio now includes more than 25 senior living communities through- out the country.
Headquartered in Newtown, Massachu- setts, Five Star Senior Living, announced the opening of a new memory care neigh- borhood at The Gardens of Bellaire in Bel- laire, Texas. The company also announced the opening of a short-term rehabilitation center at The Palms of Mount Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Recently, Five Star also launched a new blog, “The Five Star Senior Living Blog,” which in- cludes a wide range of topics relevant to seniors, caregivers of seniors and on the aging process in general.
Gardant Management Solutions, based in Bradley, Illinois, plans to open a new assist- ed living and memory care community, The Lodge at Manito, in the spring of 2017. The
The Arbor Company, based in Atlanta, Georgia, broke ground in November 2016 on inde- pendent living residences at Arbor Terrace Senior Living in Tampa, Florida. Arbor already manages the existing assisted living and memory care community at Arbor Terrace Senior Living; the independent living community will offer 139 residences and is expected to open in the spring of 2018.
Manito, Illinois community will include 24 assisted living apartments and 24 memory care suites, as well as a large community room, a private dining room, an outdoor recreation area, a library, and a hair salon.
Falls Church, Virginia-based Greenfield Senior Living has recently acquired Spring Meadows of Lansdale, which will be rebrand- ed as Greenfield of Lansdale. The newly reno- vated community, located in Lansdale, Penn- sylvania, offers 64 personal care residences and 56 memory care residences.
Harbor Retirement Associates, headquartered in Vero Beach, Florida, is set to open four new communities in 2017 and has 13 more in the works. The communities will be de- veloped in Delaware, New Jersey, and Wash- ington, D.C.

Caring.com. Holiday Retirement, based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, led the distinguished awards with the most community award recognitions.
Integral Senior Living, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, opened a sales office at All Seasons Naples, located in Naples, Flori- da. The community will offer 100 indepen- dent living, 62 assisted living residences, and 25 memory care studio apartment homes. It is anticipated that first occupancies will begin as early as the spring of 2017.
