content.Dexter Watson has a simple and cost effective solution to tackle the problem.
Inline Screening
Dexter Watson’s Inline Screening unit has been designed to remove crude debris and rags from waste water and works in conjunction with a polymer dosing and pumping unit; part of the Dexter Watson Sludge Dewatering system.
The inline screening unit provides added protection to any sludge pumping equipment; preventing damage being caused from oversized material such as stones, broken pipeworkand metal objects as the product is being drawn through, saving downtime stripping pumps to remove blockages.
The Screening Unit features a removable screening grid and catchment plate to allow for cleaning and can be supplied with a selection of screening grids with varying sized apertures to suit project needs. The unit also has a hinge lid secured by pivoting eyelet bolts for quick and easy access to the interior; it also features both high and low level inlet – outlets and is fitted with forklift pockets for easy loading and positioning. For larger projects several units

can be coupled together giving greater capacity.
Mobile Screening Containers
Our Mobile Screening Container is designed to accept tankered waste and again removes rags and debris from waste water and sludges before going through a dewatering process. The system works by passing tankered waste or other delivery methods through large sized screening panels with differing apertures that can easily be altered if required. The screenings are emptied through a full width rear door; when tipped the grids open allowing any trapped debris to fall out and automatically return to their original position.
The system features a 30m³ holding capacity,
level indicator, hydraulically operated rear door locking system, inverted stack pipe to a sump, there is a hinged ladder and folding handrail to gain access to the top where the inspection hatches are located. The system can also be used as an oily water separator or as a bulk holding container; simple to operate and maintain.
