Introducing the new RSM Pipe Aid

LED Point Repair System RSM Lining Supplies continue to be a pioneer of technology in the CIPP market with the introduction of the new RSM Pipe Aid LED Point Repair System. They have positioned themselves within the market place to offer choice and technology to the CIPP market; with their continuous research, development and innovative technique enabling them to introduce the first LED Point Repair System to the UK Market.

This system is suitable for use within the diameter range 100mm-375mm, with a cure of a 500mm length repair taking between 6-10 minutes (depending on diameter size). The system is robust, versatile and will allow contractors to drastically increase productivity rate on site. Standard methods of installing a point repair take between 1-2 hours to cure. Consequently, as a reduction of time spent on site, the introduction of this pipe aid system will reduce costs of installation. RSM Lining Supplies Sales Manager, Phil Steele, commented: ‘The new RSM Pipe Aid LED System will revolutionise the point repair market in the UK. This is the first system of its kind to be available in the UK and

I believe it to be the first step into small diameter LED CIPP. This product is the first to be using LED cure methods, with further developed technology to be released in the coming months’.

Another system using UV bulbs was previously introduced to the market by RSM, but the price tag was too high to be competitive within the UK market. After 2 years of research and development, RSM have managed to significantly reduce the equipment price and now feel they have developed a product of a high quality that is also priced at a competitive rate. Phil Steele commented further; ‘The UK point repair market is incredibly competitive at present. However, we believe that the pre- impregnated LED pipe aid system can increase productivity with a minimal equipment investment, allowing contractors to install up to 25 point repairs in a single day’.

RSM Lining Supplies will be showcasing the new equipment at the up-coming No Dig Live event in September.
