Jet Aire appoints National Key Account Manager Jet Aire Director, Keith Ferris said:
Leeds-based Jet Aire Services has appointed John Richmond as National Key Account Manager to drive continued growth in the company’s drainage and civil engineering business throughout the UK.
John joined Jet Aire as Business Development Manager in 2017 and his substantial contribution to an outstanding year of sales revenue has earned a promotion to this key position. He will concentrate on developing the company’s core sectors including industrial, residential, retail, commercial, environmental, highways, transport and chemical.
John has a wealth of experience in the drainage and utilities sectors with an impressive track record of achieving major revenue growth for a number of companies. Prior to joining Jet Aire, he was Business Development Manager at Preston-based Sapphire Utility Solutions and spent three years as Business Development Manager at Glasgow-based Euro Environmental Solutions.

Mexican Ambassador opens Wavin site expansion
The expansion of Wavin’s Chippenham site has been officially opened by His Excellency, Ambassador of Mexico to the United Kingdom, Julián Ventura Valero. The expansion follows a multi-million pound investment by Wavin’s Mexican parent company, Mexichem, and will help to ensure that the plastic pipe manufacturer remains highly responsive and competitive in a rapidly changing market.
The 8000 m2 expansion is comprised of four new bays,
which will drive productivity improvements in the factory. The enhanced capabilities at the site will also enable Wavin to better respond to the changing needs of the market and its customers in a more flexible and efficient way. The development is set to create a significant number of job opportunities in the factory, yard and warehouse departments, supporting not only the long-term growth plans of the business, but also the
