Anglian Water is the largest water and wastewater company in England and Wales by geographic area. Aquam will provide hydrant and standpipe services to over 1,000 companies operating the utility’s potable water network assets in the north and east of England.
Aquam, which has its UK headquarters in Manchester, currently provides standpipe and management services to 12 water companies in England and Wales.

Top Safety Accreditation for CountyClean Environmental Services Ltd
Sussex based business CountyClean Environmental Services Ltd (aka CountyClean) has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
Employing around 50 people, CountyClean is principally involved in the liquid waste management sector, delivering environmental support services across a variety of commercial and consumer industries, with a £5 million turnover. CountyClean’s clients include major airports, construction firms and utilities organisations, as well as businesses throughout the South East and London including tourist attractions, heritage sites, government bodies and homeowners.
The company’s application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. SafeContractor accreditation will enhance the company’s ability to win new contracts, and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.
